All About Props Workshop (The Encore)

Due to requests from students, we are excited to offer a renewed and compacted version of the recently concluded Prop workshop on Sunday AUG 20 1030AM-2PM

The workshop will work in two ways:

  1. Deep release through Bolsters and Blocks
    Many of the experiences we go through in our daily lives, can lead to imbalances in the body, mind and breath. Restorative yoga helps to counter the imbalances by getting the body supported in heart and hip opening positions that are effective on releasing physical tensions and emotional trauma without any strain.
  2. Strengthen & Lengthen through Yoga Kurunta
    Yoga Kurunta is a method of performing practicing a variety of positions with the help of a rope which helps to improve, physically, the pulling strength of the student, as well as improving mobility. In the workshop we will see how the ropes can be used to enhance basic asanas, as well as how it helps us access some advanced asanas as well.The props we will be covering would be:
    • Blocks
    • Bolsters
    • Blankets
    • Straps
    • Chair
    • Wall and wall ropes

TIME: 10.30 AM- 2 PM

Workshop Fees:
Early Bird (before Aug 14th): RM 130
Regular (by AUG 19): RM 150
SAME DAY (AUG 20): RM 170
