We are looking for someone awesome to join us at Manasa Yoga as a full time administrator/ manager. He or she has to have a great attitude and possesses impeccable written and communication skills in English. Would be handy if he/ she can speak in other local languages as well. Nice working hours – 2 and a half days off a week, as well as mental and physical benefits that comes along with working at a yoga school. Manasa Yoga Office Administrator Job Functions

The person:
– Spoken and Written English should be impeccable.
– Working knowledge of BM and Chinese (any dialect) will be an asset.
– Should be able to work independently, have initiative and people skills (ie interact easily with people).
– Should have basic Accounting and working knowledge of Cash Flow Management.
– Basic computer skills are required eg keying in data, updating records, maintaining and updating student/members records and listing etc.
– Should be organised and meticulous in maintaining the files

The job:
– Working hours as follows :-
ÔÉò Tuesdays – 9am to 2pm (morning) & 5pm to 8.30pm (evening)
ÔÉò Wednesday to Fridays – 9am to 2pm (morning) & 6pm to 9pm (evening)
ÔÉò Saturdays – 7.45am to 1pm (morning)

– To coordinate and manage the Weekend Part-Timers.
– Should be the last person to leave, after checking that all power points are off and windows are closed during designated working days & hours.
– Update attendance sheets and collect fees for all classes/workshops and studios (including cash collected during weekend classes from Part-Timers).
– Bank-in cash collection into assigned accounts.
– Handle Manasa phone inquiries. Administrator could just direct callers to website for more comprehensive picture of Manasa yoga. If there are enquiries regarding company/group classes, or any other PR activities. (eg. Giving talks, TV/Radio interviews, magazine/press enquiries, etc.), to take down all the details, and inform Susan Kee and Manoj of request.
– Execute some marketing strategies to old members as well as to companies within ss2.
– Write and disseminate information and announcements (hardcopy & online).
– Email or mass-text students about class changes & etc.
– Liaise with suppliers whenever the need arises – eg. Plumbers, electricians, accountant, cleaners, etc.

Housekeeping responsibilities.
– Make purchases whenever the need arises:
ÔÉò Cleaning detergents, hand soaps, toilet paper, water bottles
ÔÉò Stationery (pens, markers, voucher books, etc)
– Be responsible for the general tidiness of the studios; dealing with cleaner to ensure cleanliness.
– Keep an inventory of all Manasa merchandise so that she’s totally accountable and responsible for stock.
– Liaise with teachers as and when necessary, or as directed by Manoj.
– Take charge of business licenses and Manoj’s Visa renewals at the stipulated time.
– Handle all matters pertaining to collection of rental from tenants.
– Manage and control the Manasa Charity Fund.
– Handle the renewals for the premises – Business Licences, Signage Licences, Company Business Licence, etc.
